Donations

Although the main mission of the University Archives is to document and preserve the “story of Tulane University” through its written records, very little of its holdings are derived from students.  To augment this facet of our history, we would be happy to discuss with alumni, on a case-by-case basis, the suitability of donation of material pertaining to their days at Tulane University.  For example, The University Archives accepts donations of old Jambalaya yearbooks, which we then make available to other alumni who are seeking to replace a lost or damaged copy.  Other items in which we would be interested: collegiate scrapbooks, sorority or fraternity memorabilia, and other publications produced at Tulane, such as athletic programs, media guides, handbooks, etc.  Please contact the University Archivist for consultation prior to delivery of any donated material.
