The Tulane University Archives preserves the official records of Tulane University. Our holdings include administrative records, ledgers, older student records, theses and dissertations, course catalogs, publications, maps, images, and vertical files about people, places, and events in Tulane’s history. The materials we preserve are crucial to the effective administration of the university, but are also important resources for class papers, Honors theses, Master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, and research projects in innumerable fields. The University Archives therefore comprises one of our richest sources of information on campus.
Our holdings are available only by visiting the The Victor H. and Margaret G. Schiro Reading Room (Room 202 Jones Hall). No appointment is required; however, it will be easier for us to assist you in your research if we know in advance what it is you’re seeking. Please feel free to contact the University Archives if you have any questions (acase@tulane.edu or 504-314-7821).
